主講人介紹：沈建和，教授、博士生導師，目前就職于福建師范大學數學與統計學院；兼任美國《數學評論》和德國《數學文摘》評論員、中國數學會奇異攝動專業委員會副主任委員等；研究方向為奇異攝動理論及應用；已在《Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A》《Physica D: Nonlinear Phenomenon》《Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations》《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems》《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems-B》等雜志發表論文約 30 篇；（曾）主持國家自然科學基金面上項目和青年項目、中國博士后科學基金、福建省自然科學基金面上項目等。

內容介紹：In this talk we will introduce the birth of periodic solutions and some associated bifurcation mechamisms in singular perturbation systems.Based on geometric singular perturbation theory (GSPT) and bifurcation theory, a variety of rich and interesting dynamics, including the birth of relaxation oscillations, mixed-mode oscillations (MMOs), canard explosion and bistability can be observed in singular perturbation systems with two or three-timescale.
