            主講人介紹:沈建和,教授、博士生導師,目前就職于福建師范大學數學與統計學院;兼任美國《數學評論》和德國《數學文摘》評論員、中國數學會奇異攝動專業委員會副主任委員等;研究方向為奇異攝動理論及應用;已在《Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A》《Physica D: Nonlinear Phenomenon》《Journal of Dynamics and Differential Equations》《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems》《Discrete and Continuous Dynamical Systems-B》等雜志發表論文約 30 篇;(曾)主持國家自然科學基金面上項目和青年項目、中國博士后科學基金、福建省自然科學基金面上項目等。


            內容介紹:In this talk we will introduce the birth of periodic solutions and some associated bifurcation mechamisms in singular perturbation systems.Based on geometric singular perturbation theory (GSPT) and bifurcation theory, a variety of rich and interesting dynamics, including the birth of relaxation oscillations, mixed-mode oscillations (MMOs), canard explosion and bistability can be observed in singular perturbation systems with two or three-timescale.
